Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Blueprint Painting ("Company", "we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Blueprint Painting provides residential and commercial painting services in the Raleigh-Durham area, including but not limited to interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, cabinet refinishing, and specialty coatings.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided by Blueprint Painting are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Prices are subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to additional preparation work, repairs, or changes in project scope. Any changes to the original estimate will be communicated to the client for approval before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

For residential projects, a deposit of 25-50% is required to secure your place in our schedule. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project. For commercial projects, payment terms will be outlined in the contract. We accept cash, check, credit cards, and electronic payments.

5. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a scheduled project, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may be subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the project estimate to cover administrative costs and scheduling adjustments.

6. Warranty

Blueprint Painting provides a 2-year warranty on labor for most projects. This warranty covers peeling, blistering, or excessive fading due to improper application. The warranty does not cover damage caused by structural issues, water damage, or normal wear and tear. Paint products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

7. Insurance and Liability

Blueprint Painting is fully licensed and insured. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. While we take every precaution to protect your property, we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions that may affect the quality of our work, such as moisture issues, structural problems, or previous improper painting applications.

8. Project Timeline

We strive to complete all projects within the estimated timeline provided. However, unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, additional repairs, or material availability may affect the completion date. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize disruption to your schedule.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing reasonable access to the work area, removing valuable or fragile items, and securing pets. While we take precautions to protect your property, we recommend removing personal items from the work area to prevent accidental damage.

10. Changes to Terms

Blueprint Painting reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website, and the date of the most recent revision will be indicated at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
